From high level external cleaning to sensitive internal cleaning we have the knowledge, experience and equipment to achieve the best results without causing surface damage.
From painted basements to façade's and window surrounds we specialise in sympathetic paint removal from listed buildings.
It is often the case due to fashions or to cover up failing areas, stone work is painted. If (which is often the case) this is done without suitable materials the substrate can become suffocated, trapping moisture and degrading the stone below.
We can sympathetically remove paint and reinstate the original substrate.
Our experienced façade cleaning team will initially carry out controlled cleaning samples to find the most responsive method of cleaning the fabric of the building (this may be a combination of methods and mediums) but will always commence with the least intrusive method.
Whilst a reasonably accurate survey can be undertaken before cleaning it is clearly more accurate to ascertain defects once the cleaning is complete. Where repairs are required these are undertaken by our skilled masons and restorers who sympathetically blend in matching materials and products to match
On site delivery of high quality surface preparation for structural intumescent coatings. Working alongside independent qualified paint inspectors and design team to ensure correct surface cleanliness and surface profile is achieved prior to coating application.
From collecting samples and arranging WAC tests to devising project specific methodology of removal and disposal.
Our specialist teams have experience in working across a range of challenging environments.
